Earthworks

We are experienced in earthworks using granular and cohesive materials, pfa, lime & cement stabilised soils and rock fill to create development platforms, backfilling of opencast mines and quarries, highways & infrastructure and to reprofile steeply sloping sites. Our services include:

• Initial appraisals of proposals and investigation and testing of potential earthwork materials from either proposed borrowpit areas or existing stockpiles.
• Design and preparation of specifications.
• On site supervision, validation of works & preparation of completion reports.

Ground Improvement

We can provide the design, specification and supervision of various ground improvement techniques including:

• Dynamic Compaction.
• Vibro compaction, vibro-stone and vibro-concrete columns.
• Soil mixed columns.
• Surcharging & accelerated consolidation.

We have experience of a wide range of projects from large commercial developments on former landfills and loose sand fills through to trunk road, motorway and storage tank construction over very soft alluvium.
